The Kumano Kodo is a walking trail that traverses the mountains of Japan. It is one of only two World Heritage listed pilgrimage routes, the other being the Camino. In ancient times the royal family of Japan would regularly make a pilgrimage to ‘the heart’ of their land. The purpose of this journey was to pay homage to their gods and to enable self-evaluation and reflection on their sacred role. The journey focuses on the ‘heart’ of their land and their mission.

In the spirit of the Kumano Kodo, Kumano Consulting offers an opportunity to ensure goals align with methods for improvement in the health sector, providing a clear pathway to reconnect with core business missions.
